About Me

I’ve been a fan of Crawley Town FC for over 20 years and in the past few years have been an active board member (at times over-active) of the Supporters Alliance. Having been both a sponsor and an irritant of the club I was asked by the local paper to write a weekly column about the club, but in the past few months I’ve become increasingly frustrated at the lack of freedom of expression allowed in my column so after a bit of prompting I started to put together my own, freely expressed blog.

So, a bit about me: I’m the wrong side of 40 with two boys, two dogs and a loving partner. In my younger days I raced Ironman Triathlon professionally and competed at Long Course Triathlon for Great Britain. I have done and continue to travel extensively through my job and most recently have been spending a vast amount of my time in Southern Africa setting up a new Joint Venture. I’m a season ticket holder at Crawley Town and attend all home and most away games (when work travel allows). I really am a sucker for punishment.

Whilst this blog was initially intended to take the place of my weekly newspaper column about Crawley Town, I will also use it to write about other matters that interest or frustrate me both personal and professional.
